Break The Box - Midnight Rush w/ LBJ Remix - bgsq007d
Big Square seven, aka Break The Box - Midnight Rush is out now on Beatport.
It's techy & funky so it's well worth checkin' out.
It's got a wikid LBJ remix which is seriously heavy.
It's done good on vinyl & now all you downloaders can get a bit of the Big Square action too! Eeeh-hee!
Here's the release sheet from when it came out on vinyl if you fancy reading it:
The second release of 2007 for leftfield breaks' favourite asset - big square records and a real treat after the amazing merka remix of curl & dean's "Kabul". This release sees the label going for a slightly harder edge, keeping the grooves very dancefloor friendly whilst maintaining their leftfield vibe to the music. Break the box has really come through strong so far this year, with releases out on the award winning groove diggerz label "breakin even" as well as the sought after "dead famous records" but it seems like he's been saving something very special just for big square... Astonishing techy breaks that really defines the term 'next level' offering up beautiful melodies, folding around lushious bass grooves, supersonic fx and beats to die for! With such a perfect track to release, anybody on remix duties has a lot to live upto, luckily, label owner big nick d has hand picked botchit & scarper's finest lbj from a huge list of people dying to get on remix duties for this track and thankfully, he delivers the goods. The remix just keeps on building, cleverly built on dynamic live drum grooves, you get locked into a groove early and it doesn't let go until the dramatic cresendo has had it's wicked way with you.
