Latest release from Re:Connect, the first for 2008, is out in stores on 3rd March!
Perth-based producer
Karl Sav has been in the music making biz for 9 years or so, starting off with a background in bands ranging from heavy metal to acid jazz. In 1999 he discovered breakbeat and the rest is history, leading him to releases on Erase Records (“Hang One Minute”) and Unstable (“Funkenstein”), and now to “No Doubt” featuring
Nikita on vocals.
The original version is up first, a full-vocal affair with crisp but meaty beats, a tasty buzzing bassline, and searing synth lines. Remaining a little more laid back to start with, this one builds and builds throughout and is certainly one to get the ladies moving on the dancefloor.
On the flipside comes a stomping 4x4 remix from fellow Australian
Dopamine who strips back the vocal to it's main elements, adds a pounding beat and twisting bassline to great effect. This one's for all you crossover breaks/house fans out there!
